In December 1989, Andy and Mary Payson, along with John and Liz Nice, purchased Eastern Illustrating from Downeast Magazine. They continued distributing postcards to their current customers in the New England area.

Over the years, they expanded the line of printed products to include books and calendars, concentrating their efforts in the state of New Hampshire.

Presently, Eastern Illustrating is selling (along with postcards) various souvenir items including magnets, keychains, plush animals, mugs (ceramic, glass and plastic), hats, shot glasses, etc.
